Heidi Klein Girls
Earlier this week I was invited to the Heidi Klein store in Notting Hill to take a closer look at their amazing high summer swimwear collection (girl’s and women’s) and a sneak peek of Resort 16′. The store literally makes you feel relaxed and in holiday mode the moment you step through the door- with the subtle placement of coral and driftwood adding a lovely touch. This boutique is literally a one-stop shop for all your holiday needs- not just swimwear- but bags, shoes, cover-ups, jewellery and even candles. The women’s designs are elegant and sophisticated with designs to make women feel confident.
However today I want to introduce you to the girls collection which is a fairly new venture for the brand. The first thing I love about the designs are they are age appropriate. One of my biggest bug bears with girls clothes- especially swimwear- is that the designs can be too old for them. Keep them being little girls for as long as possible! There are great one pieces which include crossed back and V backs alongside reversible bikinis and most of which include cute details such as bows and ruffles- but in a refined way. The prints are all gorgeous and include a vibrant zig-zag, a pale blue Daisy pattern, a bright lemon he or a classic nautical style. All of the swimwear is made from lightweight, quick-drying fabric that is soft and gentle on delicate skin, plus it also features advanced UPF 50+ protective fabrics to block out 97% of the sun’s harmful rays. As well as the swimwear there are some chic little kaftans (featuring one of my favourites-pom poms!) and some great dresses. I have also been told that a boys collection is on its way too- so they won’t miss out in the style stakes!
Here are some of my favourite items from the collection…
